Heads up, JeffCo drivers. Starting tomorrow, there’s another road closure that could affect your drive for the next few weeks.
On September 6th, crews will shut down Spring Forest Road at the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry. Traffic will not be able to go from Old Lemay to Spring Forest and traffic on Spring Forest will not be able to access Old Lemay Ferry Road.
At he same time, there will be one-way traffic on Old Lemay Ferry Road between Spring Forest and Timber Creek Lane. Contractors will be working across from Spring Forest removing trees and excavating and there will be temporary signals in that area.
The Jefferson County Department of Public Works says the shutdown will last at least two weeks, possibly three, depending on the weather.
